Xai Testnet Odyssey

The Xai testnet scaled to nearly 5 million daily transactions in Q4 of 2023. This was largely due to the gasless and walletless experience for two games, Web3 Warriors and Tarochi. The testnet also scaled to approximately 500,000 connected wallets.

Xai Sentry Node Launch

Shortly after the testnet Odyssey, Xai launched its Sentry Nodes in preparation for mainnet launch. The node sales resulted in over 13,000 ETH in node key sales.

Xai Mainnet Launch

On January 9, 2024, Xai released the mainnet chain.

Binance Launchpool & Xai Mainnet Integration

On January 9, 2024, Binance launched its Launchpool for Xai Blockchain’s gas token, XAI. This launch drove exchange volumes in excess of $200 million per day. Binance also chose to integrate Xai Mainnet on the exchange.

XAI Airdrop

Shortly after the Launchpool, Xai airdropped approximately 125 million XAI to its community and contributors.

Xai and MIX Partnership

In April, the Xai Foundation announced its partnership with the Media Indie Exchange, aiming to bring 100 games to Xai by the year's end.

Xai Connect

In June, Xai launched Xai Connect, which is an identity and authentication solution, moving the wallet to the backend of the experience for games and dApps.

Xai Builder

In June, Xai announced “Xai Builder”, a solution that makes it easy for traditional developers to incorporate web3 elements into their games and dApps.

Xai Vanguard Genesis

In June, Xai Vanguard: Genesis launched as a Season 2 campaign to promote adoption of the Xai Blockchain and ecosystem.

Time-Based Challenge Rewards

This makes the Sentry Node challenge system more resilient by offering rewards based on how long it has been since the last challenge. In the event that a challenge missed an hour, the following one would give 2x the rewards. This also enables faster withdrawals by allowing challenges to run sooner than an hour.

Staking + esXAI Redemptions

This entails refactoring redemptions to allow esXAI associated with a redemption to be staked and continue to earn rewards.

Tiny Sentry Keys

Our community proposed a plan to make Keys more accessible by implementing a 1:100 split where supply increased by 100x and price decreased by 100x. This enables anyone to own a piece of Xai and its game portfolio — all for the price of approximately ~$50 USD. Network rewards and airdrops scale with the keys you own so you will be able to get as much exposure and upside as you want

Liquid Staking Capabilities

A liquid staking token represents staked assets that can be used while still earning staking rewards. Traditional staking locks up assets, preventing their use until the staking period ends. Liquid staking solves this by issuing a token equivalent to the staked assets, which can be traded, used in DeFi activities, or collateralized. This allows users to maintain liquidity while participating in staking.

Stylus The Stylus integration with the Xai Chain ArbOS upgrade introduces a WebAssembly Virtual Machine, significantly enhancing computational and memory efficiency. This upgrade will reduce operational costs while supporting multiple programming languages, making the platform more accessible to developers.
