Step 3a: Set Up & Fund the Sentry Wallet
The Sentry Wallet must be funded with Arbitrum One ETH (a.k.a. AETH or Arb ETH) to pay for the gas required to claim rewards. This can be done in a few simple steps below.
On average, funding your Sentry Wallet with 0.02 Arb ETH is enough to cover the gas required to run 1 Key on a node that's active 24/7 for 1 year.
If you do not hold AETH already, follow these steps.
If you hold AETH already, proceed to the steps below to fund the Sentry Wallet.
When using the Xai Sentry Node desktop app, a Sentry Wallet is automatically created for you. Follow the steps below to fund the Sentry Wallet in the desktop app.
If you wish to use one of your own wallets as the Sentry Wallet rather than the one automatically created for you, you can follow these steps.
Go to Sentry Wallet in the Xai Sentry Node desktop app.

Click the "Copy" icon next to the Sentry Wallet address to copy to address to your clipboard (see image below)

Go to your wallet and transfer some Arbitrum ETH to the address copied in Step 2.
When using the CLI, a Sentry Wallet must be booted up and added for the Node to run. The wallet used to boot the operator is the wallet that requires funds. To fund that wallet, follow the instructions below.
If you do not know the public address of the wallet serving as the operator (a.k.a. Sentry Wallet) for a Key, click here to see instructions on how to determine the address via the CLI.
First obtain the public address of the wallet serving as the operator. To do that follow these steps:
Type in the command
list-operators. Then hit 'Enter'.Enter the public address of the wallet that contains the Key(s).
Copy the listed operator address(es).
Go to your wallet and transfer some Arb ETH to the address copied in Step 3.
