Gas.zip

Overview:

Gas.zip is a powerful, one-stop solution for bridging gas to over 165 blockchains with a single transaction. It simplifies the process of obtaining gas for multiple chains, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for users.

Background:

Gas.zip was created to address the challenges faced by users needing gas money across various alt-chains and Layer 2 solutions. Traditional bridges were often fragmented, inconsistent, and difficult to use, with limited chain support, variable delivery times, high minimums, and a cumbersome user experience. Gas.zip was built to solve these issues by providing a multi-chain distributor that supports numerous chains and offers a user-friendly interface with near-instant delivery times.

How It Works:

Gas.zip allows users to bridge to multiple destination blockchains with a single inbound fueling transaction. Unlike traditional bridges, Gas.zip is optimized to deliver gas amounts efficiently to the blockchains you need. This is achieved using proprietary internal infrastructure that reads on-chain events and relays payments to user destinations. Gas.zip leverages a mix of internal RPC connections and publicly available infrastructure to ensure reliable transactions, with mechanisms in place to reprocess stuck or dropped transactions.

Products:

Gas.zip has introduced three key products to enhance its ecosystem:

  • LZ.Gas.zip: A gas refueler built on the latest LayerZero contracts, enabling users to bridge to all supported LayerZero chains.

  • Token.Gas.zip: A token deployer that allows users to launch tokens on over 120 chains with a single click.

  • Inscriptions.Gas.zip: The first cross-chain inscriptions minted natively on the LayerZero v2 network.

Additionally, Gas.zip has integrated with DeFi Lama’s Smol Refuel bridge and Aave’s Family wallet, enabling in-wallet gas refueling.

Supported Chains:

Gas.zip currently supports seven inbound chains: Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, BSC, and Polygon. The team plans to add several dozen more inbound chains in the coming weeks. In total, Gas.zip supports 164 destination chains (110 mainnets and 54 testnets), with ongoing updates to expand chain support.
