# Unstaking

To unstake your keys or esXAI with a pool, you can follow these steps.

1. Connect your wallet that you have staked with at <https://app.xai.games> .
2. Navigate to the "Staking" section in the left navigation.
3. Click on the pool you wish to unstake from to open it's details page.
4. Click on the unstake button for either the keys component or esXAI component.
5. Enter your unstake amount.
6. Confirm the amount and sign the transaction – you will need some Arbitrum ETH for gas costs.
7. Wait for the unlock period to complete and return to the pool details page from step 3. You will continue to accrue staking rewards from this pool for your stake in an unlock period.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://xai-foundation.gitbook.io/xai-network/kn/staking-explained/staking-pool-guide/unstaking.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
